Community development enterprise - Work-Study Programs  Participants go through a 90 day work-study program which may comprise one or more of the following activities: local area development, travel related services, nonprofit management and fundraising strategies, renewable energy, food production, distribution and management, environment friendly materials and technology. A specific work-study plan is designed with the participant. Following the work-study period, the participant may elect to hold a nine month stage during which he/she is assisted in launching a business activity. The work-study program is open to any interested individuals and it is particularly indicated for college students who plan on spending a semester or year abroad.
